Fun A Day is a month-long project encouraging you to to experiment, dabble, practice a skill, try something new, and most importantly, have fun!
Fun-A-Day was started by Art Clash in Philadelphia. The general premise is that you commit now to doing something fun every single day in January, and then show off the fruits of your creativity in an art show when the month is over. You can pick a big project and work on it a little bit every day, or you can pick a project that involves doing something discrete each day.
It is a really great way to try something new and get better at it, or to jumpstart your creativity if you feel like you’re in a rut, or to just make sure you’re interacting with the world in a time of year that is sometimes tough and blue to get through.
There’s no cost to participate and no rules about how to complete it. We respect any attempt you make!

You don’t *have* to do the Art Show, but it’s lots of fun if you do!
The Art Show is one of everyone’s favorite parts of the project! We get together in a collaborative space and celebrate that we did it. For lots of the Fun A Day participants, it’s the first time they’ve ever shown their work in a public setting, and it feels really exhilarating. Plus you get to meet the people behind the great ideas you’ve been following along.
When you’re thinking about the art show, consider how you might display your project in the space. Will it be on a table? Hung? Is it very big or very small? Touchable? Absolutely NOT touchable?

If you’re just interested in spectating, you can join the email list too! Fill out the sign up form and write that in the project info.
